1.Congratulations on the purchase of your new VS-2082 PLS Locator. The VS-2082 PLS Locator is specially designed to detect pipes, sondes, telecommunication lines buried utilities. This device may detect buried power cables, CATV cables, gas and water pipes, sewer lines, telephone cables, fiber optic cables with sheath, sondes, inspection camera transmitters. Engineered by WESHINE for high accuracy and dependability, this multi-function locator operates across a wide temperature range (-20 ºC to +50 ºC) and is ISO certified (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001) to meet rigorous industrial field requirements. Backed by a 1-year warranty and 24/7 online technical support, it offers a reliable solution for complex utility mapping.
2.The Transmitter emits a signal. The Receiver detects the signal. You can locate the relative position of the buried utility, sonde or camera by following the tracing signal. Utilizing active dual-frequency signal outputs (including 98kHz, 9.8kHz, and 82kHz) alongside adjustable output power settings (Low, Medium, and High up to 5 W), it delivers precise sounding accuracy up to a maximum depth of 2.5 meters. This ensures efficient tracking and reliable fault location for outer sheath resistance and conductor circuits. With customizable options available, it adapts seamlessly to various field conditions and municipal inspection requirements.
