Product Description

The VS-400A Zinc Oxide Arrester Resistance Current Tester is used for the measurement and analysis of zinc oxide leakage currents. It is mainly used for measuring the resistive current, to detect performance and quality of zinc oxide arresters and thus to analyse the extent of zinc oxide ageing and moisture. It also has the capabilities of electrical parameter testing, vector analysis and harmonic testing. The on-site live test conforms to the requirements of the Power Industry Standard "DL474.5-2018 Guidelines for the implementation of on-site insulation tests - arrester tests". The tester can also be used in the laboratory for factory and acceptance tests.

  1. The instrument is capable of conducting single-phase or three-phase measurements simultaneously, with side phase compensation and harmonic content measurement.
  2. The instrument has three measurement modes: wired, wireless and PT-free.
  3. The instrument uses high-precision sampling and processing circuitry, advanced Fourier harmonic analysis technology and high-precision sensors to directly collect the input voltage and current signals, making the data more reliable.
  4. The instrument is equipped with a wireless module for wireless acquisition of voltage, which can be used in conjunction with the main unit for wireless measurement.
